About Dr. Scott Watkins and Dr. William Watkins Dr. Scott Watkins received his undergraduate degree from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA and his DMD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Luzerne County Dental Society, and is a Board Member of the Luzerne County Dental Society and serves on the Council for Communications and Public Relations Pennsylvania Dental Society. Dr. Watkins has furthered his professional training through studies at the world-renowned Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry and with Advanced Endodontic Training with Dr. Steve Buchanan and Dental Education Laboratories. He is Invisalign certified and Zoom Advanced Power Whitening certified. Dr. Watkins provides complimentary dental exams for two local school districts and also volunteers his time at Wilkes University to coach and guide pre-professional students who are interested in the career of dentistry. He is member of the John Kolmer Medical Society, Gold Foil Honor Society, and American Society of Dentistry for Children and a Charter Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Luzerne County Dental Society, Dr. Watkins is a former Instructor at the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE. William Watkins enjoys working in the same practice with his son, Dr. Scott Watkins.
